9th ITAM Finance Conference

Mexico City, Mexico, February 28 - 29, 2020


ITAM Department of Business Administration, in partnership with Fundación de Estudios Financieros (FUNDEF), is delighted to host the 9th ITAM Finance Conference, designed to bring together leading scholars in the field. The conference will be held on Friday February, 28th, and Saturday morning, February 29th, 2020. We are delighted to announce that Nicholas Bloom (Stanford) will be our keynote speaker. We invite authors to submit papers from all areas of finance, although we will give special emphasis to papers related to financial markets, expectations, and uncertainty.

FEES, ACCOMMODATION and ACTIVITIES

Submission fee USD $40 (MXN $800)

A conference fee is charged to cover expenses (MXN$2,500 or US$125 for academics, MXN$5,000 or US$250 for practitioners). The fee covers breakfasts and lunches as well as a dinner, reception on Friday and the trip to the Pyramids of Teotihuacan on Saturday afternoon. 

The conference organization will cover the accommodation and conference fee for paper presenters and discussants. All conference participants, including paper presenters, are expected to cover their transportation expenses. Conference participants are eligible for discounted hotel rates (MXN$1,400.00 or about US$70.00 per day) from Thursday February 27th to Sunday February 29th, 2020 at the conference hotel, Camino Real Pedregal, which is a short walk from ITAM's campus.
